At Cairo Elementary we offer several Family Events throughout the year, including:
- Title One Night
- Back-To-School Open House
- English Language Development
- Math, Reading, and STEM Family Nights.
We partner with Oregon State University Extension, Family and Community Health 4-H Youth Development, and Frontier STEM Hub, Malheur ESD to support our teachers, students and families. Cairo’s PTO is very involved in our school and supports our Family Nights and educational field trips to provide additional learning opportunities for our students. Communication is provided through School Newsletters, phone calls, text messaging and Facebook.

Cairo Elementary partners with many local organizations. Local social and health service agencies including dental screenings, Four Rivers Cultural Center for concerts and plays providing education experiences, and Help them to Hope canned food drive to collect food for families in need.
